Mum’s Paneer Bhurji

This recipe is super healthy, tasty, and ready in 10 minutes! 
Serves 6

2 brown onions, finely chopped
oil of choice
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp black mustard seeds
150g frozen peas
2 green chillies, roughly chopped
450g paneer
1 tsp salt
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala

– Add 2-3 tbsp of oil to a hot pan. Add the cumin seeds and black mustard seeds, and let them sizzle.

– Add the onions and cook for 5 minutes until lightly golden.

– Add the frozen peas and green chillies, and cook for 2 minutes.

– Crumble the paneer into a large bowl.

– Add the salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, and paneer. Mix well.

– Turn up the heat and cook for 4-5 minutes whilst stirring continuously.

Option to garnish with some fresh coriander leaves and serve with piping hot chapati!
