With Bake Off season in full swing, this month I’m turning to a classic to help RNIB fundraise for blind and partially sighted people: The humble cupcake.
RNIB is the UK’s leading charity supporting people living with sight loss, so I’m really excited to be working with them on their #DotsRaiseLots campaign.
The idea is simple. Just add dots to your next cake mix, then hold a bake sale to raise lots for RNIB and highlight the impact of braille.
These cupcakes are super light and fluffy, easy to make and very delicious. The vanilla sponge is finished with buttercream and a hint of chocolate – and topped with dots.
If you want to get involved, you can see the full recipe here. Just don’t forget to share your finished cakes on social media with me and RNIB using the hashtag #DotsRaiseLots.
