Pear and Cardamom Caramel Upside-down cake

I love the flavours in this cake! Tangy pears, floral cardamom, rich caramel and moist sponge of orange and almonds. Its easy to make and absolutely amazingly delicious.

  1. I was so excited to try this recipe but was disappointed! The cake was delicious, but the caramel was overpowering. There also was not enough cake relative to the caramel and the pears. If you try this make sure to use very small pears, or maybe double the batter.
