Paneer Tikka

Enjoy the simplicity of these vegetarian kebabs made with paneer, peppers, and onions. They’re simple, easy, and totally delicious. Perfect for the barbecue, a pan, or even in the oven. A delightful option for vegetarians that’s sure to satisfy the taste buds!
Serves 4 people.

Ingredients
skewers, if using wood then soak in water for 1 hour
oil of choice
240g paneer, cubed
1 red pepper, chopped into squares
1 green pepper, chopped into squares
1 red onion, chopped into squares

For the Marinade
100g natural yoghurt
3 garlic cloves, grated
1″ fresh ginger, grated
¾ tsp salt
1 tbsp tandoori masala
½ tbsp chaat masala
½ tsp chilli powder

Method
– Prepare the barbecue or preheat the oven to 180°C / 160°C with a fan.

– Place all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl. Mix well.

– Add the paneer, red and green pepper, and red onion. Gently massage the marinade into the paneer and vegetables and set aside in the fridge for 30 minutes.

– Assemble the kebabs by layering up the ingredients on the skewers.

– Brush some oil onto each kebab and place on the barbecue to cook for 6-8 minutes until slightly charred. Cook for 15-20 minutes in the oven.

Time to serve!
