200g golden caster sugar
4 large eggs
¼ tsp baking powder
220g self-raising flour

zest of 2 oranges

For the Filling

  1. I am SOOOO excited to that you are online as I loved all your recipes on the GBBO. Please forgive me if I’m overlooking this, but is there a printable copy of this recipe available here?

    • I just made this cake and saw that the teaspoon or measuring spoon used for the baking powder did not look like 1/4 tsp as was mentioned in the video…is this truly the proportion/amount to the self raising flour? It seems that one would use at least 1 tsp…please help!!

  3. This looks amazing, can’t wait to try it!

I’m thinking of adding a drizzle of chocolate ganache on top – do you think that would be good, or would it be too many flavors?

    Thanks!
