Everyone in our family is a fan of granola, and their favourite is this homemade version. It’s easy, quick, and healthy all at the same time, and once you’ve made it, you won’t want to buy store-bought options again. Enjoy a delightful and wholesome breakfast with this homemade granola!
Ingredients
500g rolled oats
75g pumpkin seeds
75g sunflower seeds
75g flaked almonds
75g chopped hazelnuts
75g desiccated coconut
300ml maple syrup
3 tbsp sunflower oil
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
– Preheat the oven to 160°C / 140°C with a fan.
– Place all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
– Mix all the wet ingredients in a jug. Pour this over the dry ingredients and mix well.
– Pour the mixture onto 1-2 large baking tray (s). Spread it out to form a thin, even layer so that everything roasts equally.
– Roast in the oven for 15 minutes.
– Toss the granola and put it back in the oven for another 15 minutes. Repeat the process once more.
Enjoy with your favourite yoghurt and fruits!
