Garlic Chilli Prawns

Treat your taste buds to a culinary delight with these super delicious chilli garlic prawns. Easy to make, packed with flavour, and guaranteed to disappear in minutes!
Serves 1-2.

Ingredients
6 large king prawns
oil of choice
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1″ fresh ginger, finely chopped
1 green pepper, roughly chopped
1 red pepper, roughly chopped
1 red onion, roughly chopped
1 red chilli, roughly chopped
1 tbsp plain flour
1 tbsp cornflour
1 egg
pinch of salt
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp chilli oil

For the Marinade
pinch of salt
pinch of turmeric
1 tsp chilli oil

Method
– Remove the heads and dirt veins from the prawns and place them in a bowl.

– Add all the ingredients for the marinade and mix well. Set aside for 15 minutes

– Add 3 tbsp oil to a hot pan. Add the ginger and garlic. Cook for 30 seconds.

– Add the chilli, peppers, and onions. Make sure to break up the layers of the onions. Cook for 5 minutes.

– Add the flour and egg to the prawns. Mix well.

– Add 5-6 tbsp oil to another hot pan. Carefully add the prawns and cook for 2 minutes on each side.

– Add the salt, vinegar, prawns, soy sauce and chilli oil to the peppers and onions. Mix well.

– Mix 1 tbsp and 2 tbsp water in a small bowl to form a slurry. Pour this over the stir fry. Mix well.
