Can you believe that this deliciously moist and fluffy chocolate cake needs only 3 ingredients? You can use any topping you like but please do try this cake with this chocolate ganache as it makes it very special and utterly delicious!
Ingredients
For the Cake Mix
350g biscuits ( I used digestives and oreos )
350ml warm milk
2 tsp baking powder
For the Ganache
200ml cream
100g dark chocolate, chopped into chunks
1 tsp butter
Method
– Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180°C with a fan. Grease and line a deep baking tray or square cake tin.
– Place all the biscuits in a blender and blitz to form a coarse powder.
– Add the baking powder, and whole milk. Blitz again to form a smooth paste.
– Pour the mixture into the baking tray, place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes. A skewer should come out clean.
– Meanwhile, place the dark chocolate in a large bowl.
– Add the cream into a pan and bring it to a boil. Pour this over the chocolate, let it sit for 20 seconds, then stir to combine.
– Add the butter and mix until smooth.
– Remove the cake from the oven and the baking tray. Let it cool slightly before you pour over the ganache.
