Cabbage & Potato Sabzi

I have been meaning to share this recipe for so long. This a great mid-week meal option as it’s ready in minutes and, as always, super tasty. 

1 cabbage, thinly sliced
2 red potatoes, peeled and roughy chopped
oil of choice
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp chaat masala

– Add 2-3 tbsp of oil to a hot pan. Add the cumin and mustard seeds, and let them sizzle for a few seconds.

– Add the potatoes and cabbage. Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder, and salt. Mix well.

– Add 2 tbsp of water, cover, and cook for 8 minutes on low heat.

– Remove the lid and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.

– Add the garam masala and chaat masala. Mix well and cook for 1 minute. 

– Transfer to a serving bowl.
